About Veranda Home Care

Veranda Home Care is a privately owned, boutique home care agency serving Marin County. We are not a franchise — we are locally founded and operated by Marin County residents who understand the unique needs, expectations, and lifestyle of families in this community. In a place where people value nature, wellness, and intentional living, we believe care should feel balanced, respectful, and thoughtfully integrated into everyday life.

Helping You Stay at Home, Well Supported.

At Veranda Home Care, we provide premium, non-medical in-home care for older adults and individuals who need thoughtful daily support—without giving up the comfort of home. We work with families who value discretion, consistency, and high standards in their home. Our services include personal care, companionship, mobility assistance, household support, and safety oversight, all tailored to your family’s routines and preferences. Every caregiver is carefully vetted, extensively trained, and selected for both skill and character, so you can feel confident knowing your loved one is supported by someone truly exceptional.

Proudly serving families in Marin County with care that feels personal, calm, and truly supportive.

When Veranda Home Care May Not Be the Right Fit

Veranda Home Care is intentionally designed as a non-medical, boutique home care agency, and while we support a wide range of needs, there are situations where a different level of care may be more appropriate. We may not be the right fit for individuals who require:

  • Skilled nursing or medical care, including wound care, injections, ostomy bags, IVs, or ongoing clinical monitoring

  • Immediate crisis or emergency response, including situations requiring urgent medical attention

  • Individuals whose primary need is intensive rehabilitation services such as physical, occupational, or speech therapy

  • Individuals with severe behavioral or psychiatric conditions that create an ongoing safety risk to themselves or others and require specialized clinical support

  • Clients seeking only occasional drop-in visits shorter than our minimum service requirement

Our goal is always to ensure clients receive the right care at the right time, even if that means helping families identify alternative providers better suited to their needs.

Our Story

Veranda Home Care was founded by Brynne Andersen with the belief that exceptional home care should feel personal, dependable, and thoughtfully tailored to each individual and family.

Before launching Veranda Home Care, Brynne spent more than a decade building trusted relationships with families in private banking with First Republic Bank and J.P. Morgan, where she developed a reputation for exceptional service, attention to detail, and earning clients' confidence during some of life's most important decisions. Outside of her career, she also volunteered as a senior companion, an experience that deepened her appreciation for the meaningful impact of one-on-one care. After becoming a mother of two and settling in Marin County, she was inspired to build a business that would make a meaningful difference in the community her family calls home.

Veranda Home Care reflects Brynne's belief that exceptional care begins with exceptional people. She takes a meticulous approach to hiring and believes families should never have to choose between professionalism and compassion. Every caregiver is carefully selected to provide not only excellent care, but also the warmth, reliability, and peace of mind families deserve.
